The gameplay in Yars Revenge is addicting, fast paced, and very fun. This Game Boy Color version is much better then the version bundled on the Game Boy Advange with Pong and Asteroids. I know this because I had originally bought Yars Revenge for Game Boy Color used for about 2 bucks. Yars’ Revenge is a rather unique game in the fact that there’s not really another game like it. To explain this game, you play as Yar, an insect alien floating in space, being attacked by the Qotile and it’s relentless homing destroyer missile.
Description: “Yar’s Revenge is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of a multi-limbed warrior tasked with conquering an oppressive force. From a mostly third-person perspective, in this on-rails shooter, players fly through caverns, forests, and industrial areas while using colorful missiles and energy bursts to defeat insect-like creatures. Yes, the battle between the Yar and Qotile is still here and weapons are a must in any old galactic disagreement. So fans of the classic Atari 2600 game will be excited to hear that the Zorlon Cannon returns in this online/downloadable new version of Yars’ Revenge.
