After searching google i finally at least able to modeswitch the device, The Device ID before switching is = 19d2:bccd The Device ID after switching = 19d2:0172. ( I used the config of BCSM250 Wimax Modem ). I also verified the device id before and after switching in windows 7. I still cannot use this device, so, my question / request is how can i be able to use this device in Ubuntu. Thanks, in advance. I don't think that your Wimax device has a device class other than 255 which means 'vendor-specific'. That means the right driver has to know about the device ID. Block n load for mac.
