I have been attempting to install this software for the last week with no success. Contacted Corel technical support by email and have followed all the instructions that the technician provided with no success. I am requesting a refund for the purchase of the software and would gladly pay for the return shipping to receive a credit for the purchase. There is a conflict with the software that is causing application installation failure.

With the assistance of the Corel technician information everything he suggested I tried and continue to receive installation failure messages. Rated 1 out of 5 by Julius G. From avoid this product if you're running High Sierra I have a Macbook Pro from late 2013, I've had no problems using Toast 11 but I foolishly upgraded to Toast 15. After the installed failed with an error, I contacted Corel customer support which responded quickly and told me to trash the previous version 11 and the partially installed 15 and to manually trash a whole series hidden files, restart the computer and download an install rather than the disk. Time consuming, AND it didn't work. I tried it multiple times, following the same procedure - same result. I tried the disk again instead of the download install.

And it failed again too. As the product seemed to partially install in one of these attempts, I did try to open it from the Launchpad but it wouldn't open. As the disk envelope says once you open it you can't return it, it's TOTAL waste of money. (Note: I did a google search and found a person with the same problem with Sierra, so probably not just High Sierra.) Hopefully the backup I have of my system will let me reinstall Toast 11. From learning curve but functional There's a bit of a learning curve and the software compatibility and support for anything after Mac OS 10.8 is questionable at best - granted the product description does not include Mac OS 11 still seems like the they should have a patch to keep everything compatible.

I was still able to burn a DVD with no menus that auto plays when inserted in a standard DVD player, that's enough functionality for my purposes, but could have been better.
