Pro Tools Le 7.4.2cs2 Update For Mac
My digidesign mbox2 won't power up - Answered by a verified Mac Support Specialist. Requirements: You will need at least Pro Tools 7.1.1 to run under Tiger on an Intel Mac and Pro Tools 7.4.2 under leopard OS. Hi, I'm running Pro Tools LE 8.0.1 on a Mac OS X G5 PC. Since I updated to LE 8.0.1 I cannot open Pro Tools at all.
Mooncook wrote: Since we upgraded to Leopard, we are unable to open Logic. We are running both Pro Tools and Logic on our system. Pro Tools is fine. Anyone else run into this? What's the fix? Hi, What version of Pro Tools are you running?
Is it HD, or LE? I use Pro Tools HD 8.0.0, Logic Pro 8.0.2, under Leopard 10.5.5.
This works for me just fine, using the DTDM drivers, so I can use both Logic (AU) plugins and TDM plugins. And fermusic, please refrain from wanking off on the post. My system is working. Noeqplease wrote: And fermusic, please refrain from wanking off on the post. My system is working. Cheers Only up to 10.5.5 but I was refering to 10.5.6! As you can see, dear noeq please, mooncook profile shows 10.5.6!
He asked for a Fix. Only Digidesign can Fix this!!! Please, open your eyes!
Ask to Digidesign why every time a system update comes out, Logic cannot works with cheap digidesign hardware! And noeqplease.

I am having the same problem as the original poster Logic 8 takes up to 45 minutes to process any kind of command rendering it useless ever since I installed 10.5 core audio dae/DTDM all exhibit the same behavior. I decided to clean install my system and isolate logic by installing it as the only app on the system, it worked fine untill I installed protools first 7.4.2 then 8, the same behavior as before started in logic. I have a PPC quad core 2.5 ghz with 11gb ram and two 750 sata hds. My protools is TDM HD3 pcie with 192 I/0 as my interface and Apogee big ben as my master clock. Pro Tools Le 7.4.2cs2 Update For Mac
Previously had 7.4.2.cs2 installed. Logic Pro 8.0.2 Installed 8.0 and installed the 8.0.2 update (did not go to 8.0.1 at all) Hardware - Digidesign PT HD2, with Digi192 IO. Note: I do NOT pass audio from the computer Os to the HD hardware. In other words, iTunes, Quicktime, etc, do NOT use Core Audio to talk to the hardware. I just have the line otus of the computer hooked up to two channels on my mixer. Apple Footer. This site contains user submitted content, comments and opinions and is for informational purposes only.

Hi, I just bought an Mbox2 system from Sweetwater. I contacted Sweetwater on this and they said it is a problem with Digidesign: Here's the email I sent to the technical support at Digidesign: - Greetings, I am a recent owner of Mbox 2 Mini, which is purchased from Sweetwater.com I have recently registered my Pro Tools 7.4.2 that comes with Mbox2. I went to Digidesign's product registration page and followed the steps.
However, the confirmation email I got says that I am eligible for an upgrade from ProTools 6 to 7.4 series. For some reason the code I got doesn't belong to a ProTools 8 upgrade.
The activation email reads: We're pleased to let you know that you are eligible to receive Digidesign's newPro Tools LE 7.4 software upgrade free because you've purchased and registered one of the following on or after October 1, 2007 and of course the upgrade code starts with LE74. However, the Pro Tools version that came with my recent purchase of Mbox2 mini is 7.4.2. I think the registration ID which came out of the box (r25f.) and the Serial number (AMX88.) are linked to a Pro Tools 6 software, instead of 7.4.2. On the other hand, the 'Getting Started' manual for the Mbox Mini has the authorization code for a 7.4 series Pro Tools software. In other words, the registration ID information that came out of the box had the info for a Pro Tools 6 system, whereas the software in the box is a 7.4. In this case, I think I either need a registration ID linked to the appropriate Pro Tools 7.4 series, or an upgrade code for Pro Tools 8.
What is the source of this problem? Should I continue pursuing this matter at Digidesign-level? Thanks akinu 11:07 AM. Some of the Mbox 2 Mini units shipped without the Pro Tools LE 7.4 authorization code included. So all Mbox 2 Mini owners receive an automatic email when they register that gives them a backup/replacement code for PTLE 7.4 in case they got one of the units without an authorization. Because it is a full authorization, rather than an 'update' requiring a previous version, it is listed in our system as an upgrade from 6.x to 7.4. Don't be caonfused by the wording, it is your Pro Tools LE 7.4 and 7.4.2 authorization code.
You just need to download the installer for Pro Tools LE 7.4.2: No prevous installation of Pro Tools is required, and in fact if you are installing on Leopard, any previous version of Pro Tools should be removed. 7.4.2 is the first version of Pro Tools that runs on Leopard. According to your online registration, you entered the date of purchase as January 16, 2008: Product: Mbox 2 Mini Purchased: Jan 16, 2008 Registered: Feb 07, 2009.which would not have qualified for a free upgrade to Pro Tools LE 8. If you entered the wrong year by mistake, and actually purchased in 2009 instead of 2008, then you would need to contact Digi Customer Service with a copy of your receipt. Akinu 01:27 PM.
